The Hebrew Shelter Home Currently provides emergency and temporary housing with on-site client services to the following individuals and families:
Jewish homeless men
Jewish homeless women and children
Jewish homeless families
Jewish women and children escaping domestic violence
Mishlochim (tzedakah collectors)
In 2006, over 1,700 nights of shelter and more than 5,000 meals were provided.
Mission To provide Jewish individuals and families with a safe, temporary kosher home within the Jewish community, and the kindness and help needed to access formal and informal resources.
